Joe Nagler purchased this 2000 Sportster 1200 S and rode it around for over a year in its stock condition. After a malfunctioning petcock and open float bowl filled his motor with gas, he decided it was time to take the motor down and freshen it up. As it always goes, one thing lead to another and motor work turns into a full on custom build.
Joe leaned on some of his friends in Phoenix Arizona to bring his vision to life. He started out with the weld on sportster hardtail from Haifley Bros to set the stance. The brothers then moved on to the stellar one off stainless exhaust system and stainless fender support. The Haifley Bros finished up the remaining fabrication work before passing the bike back to Joe to finish up.
Joe's Friend Pat Cooley laid down the race inspired orange and black paint scheme, and for the seat, Haifley Brothers once again came through.
The finally assembly was a team effort. Joe and Brock at Dunlop Customs tackled most of it and his bud Tom Haines helped finish up the wiring.
Joe finished off the bike with some knobby dual sport tires and accessories from Biltwell, and Joker Machine.
